How Does It Work If You Want To Share Your Experience And Be A Mentor?
1. Register as a Mentor
Simply register with us as a Mentor. It's free!
2. State Experience and Preferences
Identify the areas where you have the skills and experience to be a Mentor. This could be personal, career, business or all three.
Decide whether you want to offer face-to-face meetings with your Mentees, or whether you're happy to use phone, email or an on-line meeting facility (e.g. Skype).
3. Mentor Matching Begins
Once you've registered we'll send you email alerts for challenges you might be interested in mentoring on, relating to your skills and experience. If you see a challenge that interests you then you can post questions for the mentee to find out more information before you apply. To make your application to mentor, complete brief details as to why you feel you are particularly suited to mentor on that challenge and how many free hours you're initially offering. Minimum free period is three hours
4. Application Review
We forward suitable mentor applications to the mentee to review. The mentee will then have the facility to ask potential mentors further questions before they make their decision.
5. Getting Started
If you are the chosen mentor we will then notify you and send your contact details to the mentee who will then get in touch and start your 3 hours free mentoring! You can then simply visit our resources section and locate all the resources you need to make sure you get the most out of your mentoring experience.
6. And finally...
At the end of the free mentoring period you can continue to offer your mentoring services for free or for a fee, if agreeable with the mentee. However, this arrangement would be independent from the MentorMatchMe service.

Mentoring Chemistry
For mentoring to be truly successful, there needs to be good chemistry between you and your Mentee. So, even if your profiles look to be a good fit, you'll never really know until you start the mentoring process.
By giving free mentoring for at least three hours you both get time to discover whether you can work together effectively. If you feel the fit isn't right between you, you can end the mentoring by mutual consent, and the Mentee can re-post their Challenge.
