This isn't all that surprising - experienced practitioners transferring wisdom is bound to do something! And you don't need to be an executive to benefit from career mentoring; it can be used in all works of life, all careers and all professions.

Good Chemistry
For mentoring to be truly successful there needs to be a good chemistry between mentor and mentee. So even if your profiles look to be a good fit, you will never really know until you start the mentoring process. For this reason, if after you commence your mentoring you feel the fit is not right then you are able to end the mentoring relationship by mutual consent and you are able to re-post the challenge.
Similarly, you may wish to post a number of different challenges and have a number of different mentors over time.

Just register for Career Mentoring. Then post details of your challenge. We send a Challenge Alert to mentors with experience in your particular challenge area, and forward their replies for you to choose from.
Once you've made your choice, we put you in touch. You get six hours mentoring completely free so you can make sure you and your Mentor are perfectly matched.
Our aim is to help you find a career mentor as quickly and easily as possible.

As a Career Mentor you will use the knowledge that you have accumulated throughout your career to help those who are now facing similar situations to you and who would like to benefit from your experience.
Mentoring offers incredible satisfaction. You may decide to sign up for our mentoring scheme because you want to give something back. Sharing skills and knowledge with someone less-experienced is not only rewarding for you, but invaluable to them.
Whilst you will make an initial commitment to give a set amount of your time for free, it does give you the opportunity to show that you can add value and then you may want to offer to continue to provide mentoring services for free or for a fee which could be agreed with your mentee, but would be outside the scope of MentorMatchMe.
